Clayton, Megan and I went for a snowshoe in a snowstorm today. Clayton's studded tires ensured we got to the trailhead safely - the gravel road was down to one lane in places and the banks were deep!
On the hike itself, the conditions were superb, but the lack of a supporting crust made for hard work for whomever was taking a turn in front.
Breaks were kept short - minus 21 Celcius means you have to keep moving to stay warm.
