A short day out saw Megan and I hike to the top of Stoney Squaw Mountain in Banff. Views were limited through the trees, but we were thankful for the protection offered by the pine forest, as it was a very windy day. Once or twice near the top, it got pretty intense and we thought a tree would snap in the wind for sure. We kept our attention above for falling branches, and made our way uneventfully to the top.
