A nice day presented itself so David, Myself, Konrad and Leia headed down to the Crowsnest Area for a hike. It was also David's birthday - good choice to spend the day in nature, David!
We hiked clockwise up Star Creek Falls loop until we had a good view of the falls. There, we left the trail and ascended a ridge. where views opened up around us.
After several ups and downs, we arrived at the summit and had lunch. We returned on a lower line that had us traverse the ridgecrest. Initially, travel was quick and easy, but some tangly bushwacking followed farther down the hillside. This was short-lived, however, and soon we were back on Star Creek Falls trail. We completed the loop and arrived back at the trailhead.
