I wasn't feeling ship-shape today, as I had a mild cold. I decided to hike solo on familiar terrain, and went to Cory Pass. This is one of my favorite hikes, and it's still good exercise, but there's no crazy elevation gain or loose terrain.
Every time I hike Cory Pass, there something new to provide wonder. This time it was the moody fog at the pass that provided nice photo opportunities.
I think this tree just fell a matter of hours ago - buddy's truck almost got smoked!
