Megan, Aidan and Myself went up Tegart Ridge in the Columbia River Valley. It was a nice hike to an elevated ridge, where Megan and I had been back in 2012. There were lots of wildflowers, and this time of year the foliage seems especially bright green before the hot summer days dry it out or it becomes bug-chewn. Getting to the trailhead, however, requires a long ascent on a rough, rutted forestry service road...a high clearance vehicle is recommended.
