David, Clayton and I went out on this lovely hike to Twin Lakes in Banff National Park.
The larches were still holding onto a surprising amount of their beautiful golden needles, considering that it was mid-October.
The highlight of the day came about an hour before the end of the hike, when we encountered a pine marten! It was not afraid of us and stuck around for several minutes while we snapped photos...what a treat!
