Hiking in Bob Creek Wildland Provincial Park has a certain sense of freedom and adventure. There are very few marked and maintained hiking trails, yet the land is a mix of open meadows and forested patches on rolling terrain that makes you want to explore. Hiking off-trail seldom involves tough bushwacking, and is often rewarded with scenic views and guaranteed solitude.
Such was the case today on this enjoyable traverse of Whaleback Ridge.
