Mt. Kerr was the start of a four day camping trip to Yoho National Park that my nephew David and I had been looking forward to for weeks. We were very lucky to not have a single drop of rain the whole trip. Before it was all said and done, we would hike 90 km and ascend 5200 meters over the next four days.
Mt. Kerr had been on my radar for a few years now, and I was super-pleased that the time had come to give it a try. Clayton and Peter J. also joined us on this fine weather day. The group dynamic combined with a long hike made for a very enjoyable day with the guys in which we hiked 31 km and ascended 1550 meters.
