After summiting the main peak of Mt. Kidd ten years ago, I returned to try Mt. Kidd South. David and Clayton joined me on this trip.
This was a beautiful late summer day in the mountains. No threatening bad weather, just sunny skies and the peak all to ourselves.
A steep grunt ensued after leaving the trail for the ascent gully, and that was followed by a long scree slope to the summit ridge. Here is where the best scrambling was, and Clayton, David and Myself all enjoyed the scenic traverse to the summit.
After a relaxing summit stay, we headed down and took an alternate gully farther eastward, that worked very well.
