Day two of the Skoki Spectacular. Brachiopod and Anthozoan Peaks are adjacent to each other, but contrary to popular opinion, are not connected. So the plan was to go up Brachiopod first (cool fossils here) and then descend to valley bottom for lunch before giving Anthozoan a go. A lovely day of exploration on trail-less terrain, with two summits and not one other person (although today's wind was blowing a gale that at times seemed to have a personality and even a temperament).
The sunny sky and surroundings were so nice, I found it odd that there was nobody else around. Then I remembered that it was Tuesday. And as I would notice in the following days, hiking is significantly more popular than scrambling in Skoki. I only saw others on two of the seven mountains I attempted, and the registers on todays' two summits recorded scant visitation compared to peaks outside of Skoki that are closer to the highway.
