My sister Magdi came out from Newfoundland to try a scramble in the Rocky Mountains. I picked Eiffel Peak as our objective.
We had wonderful weather, and even had the peak to ourselves on a sunny Saturday in August! We took it one step at a time and together made it to the top for her first mountain summit.
It was the highlight of my summer to guide a sibling on a scramble...a rare treat for sure.
After spending that night at Castle Mountain Campground, we headed into B.C. to Lussier Hotsprings for some muscle relaxation.
