The weather today was hot and sunny - no clouds or haze, just blue sky and endless views.
We hiked first to West Wind Pass, and admired the scenery down to Wind Valley on the north side. Then we backtracked and gained the southeast ridge of the Rimwall. The trees then gave way to scree slopes, followed by a couple of small rock bands near the summit.
From the top, we watched the endless parade of helicopter tours swoop beneath us while we had lunch. Then a nice nap, a few photos, and it was time to start heading down.
