A week earlier, my lovely friend Adrienne in Kimberley had given me a moss ball to give to David. I guess these are popular "pets" in Japan. Upon scrutinizing names like Ben Moss, Kate Moss and Hugo Moss, we settled on Pete Moss.
On to the hike now -well - it was a direct approached to a little-known hill called Ole Buck Mountain.
This is a scenic little outing in the Sibbald area of Kananaskis. It's best saved for shoulder season when more ambitious outings are locked up in deep snow.
