Six of us went out to Yamnuska today for a fun group outing to this popular objective. With open aspen forest, scenic ridges, fun hands-on scrambling, a short chained section along a narrow ridge and two amazing scree runs, this is the theme park of mountains - no long arduous sections where motivation gets sapped.
Again, the weather held out from raining until after our return, and our group enjoyed the conversation and social aspect that comes when six people all head out together for a hike.
