This was our last day in the O'Hara region, and after some worrying morning thunder, the skies cleared off allowing us a crack at the All Souls' Alpine Route. The tranquil, azure waters of Lake McArthur (was thinking about a quick dip here, but waaaayyy too cold - my fingers stung after holding them in for a few seconds) provided a wonderful finale before catching the shuttle bus back to our vehicle.
