We found Lost Lake today, near the continental divide, just east of the B.C. border. The route is unmarked, and so we followed train tracks to a gully near Bath Creek. We ascended forested hills which were quite hard work, but gave a fun opportunity to scoot quickly down the other side. Two or three hills later, we were on the shores of a deeply buried Lost Lake. We dug out a couple on snow chairs and had a wonderful lunch in the sun under Waputik Peak.
I am now "1 for 2" with finding Lost Lakes, being denied the one in Kananaskis on a hike with Clayton, when we ascended the wrong gully.
