This cool hike started at Fullerton Loop Trail with an extension to Ranger Hill and Taipiti Ridge via Bobcat, Strange Brew and Sugar Daddy Trails.
These trails (particularly Fullerton Loop) are very popular and I was lucky to have them all to myself today.
Once I finished lunch on Taipiti Ridge and started my descent via Sugar Daddy, the air was thick with the scent of pine trees in the warmth.
I strolled back to my starting point, blissfully unaware of the now crowded trailhead - here's to early starts!
