Since I had plans to attend a wedding on Saturday (and Saturday is my day for Super-Saturdays), I made the hike up on the Thursday previous to my engagements.
This hike was thoroughly enjoyable, with Nameless Ridge (as it is named on maps) providing far-reaching views throughout the Highwood area.
As a bonus, I hiked to the Mist Mountain hotsprings, which were much warmer than I was expecting. Toasty, but not to hot to sit in for 40 mins, as I did. Being there solo was bliss. I took photos with my camera timer of myself enjoying the water.
Soon, I saw other hikers approaching, first two then another five, then a string of five more. ``Covid is still a thing`` I thought to myself, and got the heck out of there - no need to spoil a great day with a virus.
