A trip down to Waterton National Park is always a treat.
Crypt lake is a popular trail (complete with a boat tour approach), with highlights such as a ladder bolted to a rock face, a tunnel that you must crawl through, and cables that assist you through a series of ledges. Then you emerge at the azure waters of Crypt Lake, which, incidentally, crosses the U.S. border at its south end...that's O.K., we like the lake anyway!
Before we left the park, we visited the bison paddock to say hello to the resident herd there.
