This lovely little peak rises steeply from the trailhead, with very little approach. This made for a good shorter day, as the weather was forecast to deteriorate as the afternoon went on. The route is unmarked and the trail unofficial, so I was quite surprised to see such a wide path in such good condition most of the way up. Wasootch Peak is apparently no secret, and I can see why - the reward to effort ratio is quite high.
