This was a lovely Monday outing. I went to Stanley Glacier, just across the B.C. border.
There was some sunshine at first, but that was quickly overtaken by overcast skies and light snow (this close to the continental divide sees comparatively little sunshine).
I saw several groups of skiers on snowblades, but they were after the slopes at the mouth of the valley. Once I surmounted those slopes, I had the basin to myself, as I was the only snowshoer that day.
