David and I headed out to Troll Falls for a loop hike to this popular destination. Being a Monday, we saw very few people and were even able to enjoy solitude at the falls for a lunch break.
We then hiked farther along the ridge to the upper falls, where impressive frozen cascades seemingly 'poured' out of the forest.
The return leg of the loop became a little obscure, and we ended up hiking part way up a ski run toward Nakiska. This was a great half-day outing during shoulder season.
