On day 4, I ascended Windy Ridge and Cave Mountain. The weather was once again hot and sunny, giving me ample opportunity for great photos.
I shared the small summit of Windy Ridge with several other people, making for somewhat cramped quarters. Cave Mountain, however, was solitudinous. I weaved my way through minor cliffbands on the ascent and had the mountain all to myself. I ate lunch by an impressive Boundary Survey cairn before bushwacking my way down toward the trail that led back to my campsite.
