I went to check out the access road for Snowpig 2025 - 3 weeks prior to see if this rough backroad was navigable in the winter. Success! It seems as if there is enough off-roaders keeping this gravel road beaten down, so that we can access our new potential trailhead for Snowpig 2025.
Warm sun and blue skies kept me company for this trip, as I searched about for a good site for our upcoming annual winter camping trip.
The terrain was a lot more 'melted out' than I was expecting, so I left my snowshoes in the truck and just wore microspikes. Two river fords (each way) kept things adventurous, but in the end, I think I found us a fine site for 'Ghostpig 2025'.
