Clayton and I chose this as a good poor-weather alternative for the day. Higher up near the tarns, there was actually quite a bit of snow remaining and adventure was had finiding our way through deep gullies and snow-covered hills. Upon our return, we discovered some nice forest flowers such as the tiny calypso orchid in bloom on the mossy forest floor.
