There was a fantastic high pressure system settled over the rockies, so I knew that the next several days would have sunny skies and no rain. My first priority while in Mt. Assiniboine Prov. Park was to summit Nub Peak. It truly has the grand view of the Lake Magog area, with a backdrop of toothy peaks for drama.
I enjoyed a lengthy summit stay in a rock lounger that somebody built. After descending, I extended my day and looped through Sunburst Valley for the scenic way back to the campground.
