After stopping for breakfast at the Chuckwagon Cafe in Turner Valley, Clayton, David and I headed west into Kananaskis Country. The roads were MEGA slick with a layer of black ice from the freezing fog outside. I tapped on my brakes just to check grip, and the truck just slid freely - and that's on good tires too! We slowed the pace a bit and took our time driving to the trailhead.
Looping together Muley and Carry Ridges gave wonderful variation to the day. We didn't see anybody else on these unofficial trails today, and the solitude was a nice way to wind down the 2019 Super Saturday season.
