The four of us headed out on our annual Snowpig Classic trip - to a site that we hadn't used since 2016.
Watridge Lake and its associated outlet stream serve as a fine basecamp area in this part of the main ranges. We established our camp and enjoyed an evening by the fire.
Day two saw us bushwack our way to the top of Isolated Ridge. It was tangly going and the travel was slow. We eventually made it to the top after a series of dips and rises in the ridge.
Upon descending the ridge, Konrad and I extended the hike a bit with a foray around Watridge Lake.
We then "pigged-out" with several homemade snacks prepared around the fire.
The snowfall intensified and gave a true winter wonderland feeling to this Snowpig.
We returned to the trailhead on day three and treated ourselves to chicken wings back in Calgary - a fine conclusion to a great trip!
