Megan and I started out in -17 Celsius today, so a brisk pace was needed at first, just to get the heart rate up and keep the phalanges warm. We enjoyed varying terrain as we progressed along Braggin Rights to Merlin View.
We chatted with fat bikers passing by while we had lunch at a viewpoint.
The temperature had risen to +3 Celsius by the time we were hiking back to the trailhead - a 20 degree swing in four and a half hours.
